Text Message Program

MGM Law Client Messaging · Effective July 11, 2026

This page describes the text message program operated by MGM Law Corporation (“MGM L.C.”), including exactly how consumers opt in, what they receive, and how they can opt out. This page is public and requires no login.

1. What We Send

Messages are limited to a client’s own legal matter: case status updates, appointment reminders and confirmations, and requests for documents or information. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages, and we never sell or share mobile information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

2. How Consumers Opt In

There are two ways to opt in. Consent is always voluntary, is never a condition of retaining our firm or receiving legal services, and declining has no effect of any kind on a client’s representation.

Opt-in path 1 - the intake question.

During intake (on our client portal, or in equivalent standalone language in paper intake forms), after providing contact information, every person is shown the following standalone question. Nothing is pre-selected - no box is pre-checked and no answer is chosen by default. Only an affirmative “Yes” answer records consent, and the choice is stored with a timestamp as the consent record. The question may also be skipped entirely, which is treated as no consent. This is the question exactly as consumers see it:

Optional - text message updates: May we send you case updates, appointment reminders, and document requests by text at the number above? Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply; reply STOP any time to stop. Saying no does not affect your representation in any way. Details: mgm.law/privacy

Yes, you may text me
No, contact me another way

Shown above: both choices unselected, exactly as presented to every consumer.

Opt-in path 2 - text opt-in by keyword.

Consumers may also opt in directly by text message. This is the call to action exactly as we publish it:

Text START to (424) 281-0320 to receive case status updates, appointment reminders, and document requests from MGM L.C. by text message. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help and STOP to cancel at any time. Consent is not a condition of any service. Privacy Policy: mgm.law/privacy · Terms: mgm.law/terms

Opt-in path 3 - spoken consent during a recorded phone intake.

Consumers who complete intake by telephone are asked the same optional question shown above, read to them verbatim on a recorded line, with the same disclosures (message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply; reply STOP any time to stop; declining does not affect representation). Only an affirmative “yes” records consent, and the answer is stored with a timestamp alongside the call record as the consent record.

Separately, a consumer who texts our number on their own initiative consents to receive replies to their inquiry, and can end the conversation at any time by replying STOP.

3. Frequency and Fees

Message frequency varies with the activity in a client’s matter. Message and data rates may apply according to the recipient’s mobile carrier plan. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

4. Opting Out and Getting Help

  • Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. One final confirmation message is sent, then no further texts. Reply START to rejoin.
  • Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or contact us at (424) 281-0320 or mgm@mgm.law.

5. Privacy and Terms

Full details are in our Privacy Policy (SMS section) and Terms of Use. No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes; opt-in data and consent are not shared with third parties except vendors who deliver messages on our behalf and may use it only for that purpose.
