Terms of Use

Effective July 10, 2026

These Terms of Use govern your use of the website and client portal operated by MGM Law Corporation (“MGM L.C.,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) at mgm.law, and the terms of our SMS text messaging program. By using this website or participating in our text messaging program, you agree to these terms.

1. No Attorney-Client Relationship

The content of this website is provided for general informational purposes only and is not legal advice. Using this website, submitting information through our intake portal, or communicating with us by phone, email, or text message does not create an attorney-client relationship. An attorney-client relationship is formed only by a written engagement agreement signed by MGM L.C.

2. SMS Text Messaging Program

MGM L.C. sends text messages to clients who have opted in, limited to communications about their legal matter: case status updates, appointment reminders and confirmations, and requests for documents or information. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.

  • Opt-in. You consent to receive text messages by answering a standalone, optional consent question during intake - separate from any retainer or other required agreement - or by texting us first. Consent is entirely voluntary and is not a condition of receiving legal services; declining has no effect on your representation.
  • Message frequency varies with the activity in your matter.
  • Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier plan.
  • Opt-out. Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. You will receive one final confirmation message and no further texts. Reply START to resubscribe.
  • Help. Reply HELP to any message, call us at (424) 281-0320, or email mgm@mgm.law.
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. The program is available on major U.S. carriers; capabilities may vary by carrier and device.
  • Privacy. Information collected in connection with the messaging program is handled as described in our Privacy Policy, and the complete program and opt-in flow are documented at mgm.law/sms. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

3. Use of the Website and Client Portal

You agree to use this website and the client portal only for lawful purposes and to provide accurate information when you submit an inquiry or intake. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any access credentials or verification codes sent to you, and for all activity conducted through them.

4. Intellectual Property

The content of this website, including text, design, and graphics, is the property of MGM L.C. or its licensors and may not be reproduced or distributed without our prior written permission, except for personal, non-commercial reference.

5. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

This website and the messaging program are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Past results do not guarantee similar outcomes in other matters. To the fullest extent permitted by law, MGM L.C. is not liable for damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, this website or the messaging program, including delayed or undelivered messages.

6. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of this website shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date above reflects the most recent revision, and the current version will always be posted on this page.
